More new rooms!

Hey tinkas! A few days ago there was a sweet new room in Canopia but now there is an even newer room called 'Blueberry Hill.' This room isn't like the other main rooms it is now the new main room where your tinka first lands on tinkatolli.

There isn't much to do at Blueberry Hill but you can see why they call it that! There is Blueberrys everywhere! And it links up to all of the locations in Tinkatolli (except for Kelp Key which isn't on the map) Do you think we will fly to the volcano some day?

Along with the new room the map has a completely new look! It looks awesome right?

Finally there is a new item in theFurniture Store called a 'CocoChair' and it was made by Coconut!

Congratulations on getting your item picked Coconut!

New tinkatolli location!

Hey tinkas! There are new locations in Tinkatolli!

To find it first get a boat that you can make in the mechanicalshop. Next you go to Canopia and go down to the bridge and there is a new boat sign

Then place the boat in the water.

Once you have done that the boat will move and go down a big waterfall.

You will end up in a place called Windy Ways. There is a HUGE fan along with some buttons and only one is clickable for now.

Once you have clicked the button the fan will turn on and you will float off to Kelp Key!

After only a few seconds you should arrive at Kelp Key!

It is only a small island but you can collect rare junk!

To get back just repeat this any time :D

What a great small location eh? Looks like that fan is going to take us to more than one place!

Private beta contest!

Hey tinkas!

Today I am announcing that I will be having my first contest! This is a raffle one! The rules are simple!

Comment on this blog under this post with your tinkaname. IT MUST HAVE YOUR TINKANAME THAT YOU REGISTERED FOR TINKATOLLI IN IT!

How to Earn TinkaPoints

Hey Tinkas,

To earn TinkaPoints click on your scrapbook which is one of the icons along the chat-bar.

Once you open it there are 4 different icons that tell you the page

The sections in the book are 'Maker' (Purple), 'Mover' (Green), 'Thinker' (Yellow), and 'Giver' (Dark Blue)

If you click on one it will take you to the page you clicked on. You will see a blank piece ofpaper and some information to help you on the right side.

You can either write what you did for example: "I rode to school."

Or you can add/upload a picture to your scrapbook.

Once you have done one of these, your stats will automatically go up and each mark/goal you pass you get a bonus 25 tinka points! Fun and easy right?

I reckon this is a great way to get us moving and earn things on tinkatolli the more you do the more you get!

You now know how to get TinkaPoints! But what do Ido with them?

Tinkapoints are used to buy some Makeables in TInkatolli, at the moment. Makeables are items you use to decorate your house!

Not all items need TinkaPoints and it is no wander why you need to get tinkapoints because you get some really cool items like the CreatorCopter that is made by Creator.

Certain items need TinkaPoints to be made and there are 2 icons for it:

How to get into your home

Hey Tinka's!

To get home you first of all you need to go to 'Canopia' and go up or press the zoom button on click near the place with the perch with pencil and the spoon.

You will see a spoon near it as you see in the picture above and walk near it. Then an Acorn Icon in a bubble should pop-up. All you need to do is a place an acorn (they can be found around Tinkatolli) and place it on the spoon.

Then it should fling the acorn into the bowl and a Tucan comes and opens up a secret entrance into your home.

Once you get in you will be in a dark room and you should see a glow worm sleeping. To make it light up all you need to do is feed it a flower or something else. And flowers are fairly easy to find. (You can use any organic item on the worm to wake it up). To feed him click and drag the organic item and he should light up!

Now you should see a transporter with a red rope at the back click on it and you will go up into the top of your house.

You are now ready to start creating your very own style of house! Have fun in it!

P.S. You have to do this again to get back into your house

How To Earn seeds

Hey Tinka's,

Here is a guide on How to Earn Seeds.

To earn seeds play games like Shell Digger which is my personal favorite :) And make sure the game has a seed logo which is located at the top of the game sign.

Every game comes with their very own instructions so you should get the hang of them pretty easy ;)

Once you have lost or won the game a message should pop-up on your screen saying how many seeds you have earned and your points on the game.

Now that you know how to earn seeds you probably want to know how to use them right?

Seeds are for collecting junk at the moment and junk allows you to make furniture. Junk appears all over Tinkatolli on the ground except for 2 places, Tinkertown and Canopia.

To dig up junk you just click on it but you MUST have enough seeds for it, because you will be spending your seeds to get the junk.

When the item pops out the seed sprouts will fade away and click and drag it into your backpack easy isn't it? :)

You now know how to get seeds and what to do with them ;)

Tinkatolli talks how they select beta testers!

We’ve had a lot of kids asking when they will get to be a beta tester, and what they have to do to be a beta tester on Tinkatolli. We thought it was time to answer some questions and explain a bit of what goes on behind the scenes.

First, why don’t we just let everyone be a beta tester?

Even though beta testers expect that some things won’t work, we really want to make sure every player has a good experience. We would LOVE to be able to open the doors for everyone right now, but that could lead to a bad experience for everyone. Letting too many kids in at once might cause our untested server to simply crash. We don’t think this will happen, but we have a lot of other things to test before we test whether our server is ready for thousands of kids at the same time.

How do we pick beta testers?

The picking of our beta testers is based on a combination of a few factors: How long you have been waiting, where you live, and how enthusiastic you seem to be.

We’ll explain why we do it this way.

How long you have been waiting
This one is obvious. It is only fair to take the kids who have waited longest. Most of our first group of testers waited for many months before getting in. If you just signed up, you certainly won’t have to wait that long, but please don’t be upset if you don’t get an invite tomorrow.

Where you live
We want to make sure that when players are in the game, there is good chance that they will get to meet and interact with other players. To do this, we look at what time zone you live in, and try to select groups of kids from the same time zone. If we notice that some testers have been on a lot without meeting many other kids, then we try to invite more from that time zone next time.

How enthusiastic you seem to be
It is important for us that the kids we invite as beta testers, are really interested in Tinkatolli. The quickest way for us to find all glitches and fix them is to have testers who are enthusiastic enough to really give the game a run for its money. What we found with our early testers, is that the ones who had been the most enthusiastic before being invited (either by making tinkas, or blogging, or tweeting, or chatting with us) were also the most enthusiastic about testing, finding glitches and giving feedback. We are extremely grateful that these testers have been on A LOT and given a lot of great feedback – their enthusiasm has enabled us to make many important changes.

When will you get your invite, and will everybody get to be a beta tester?

As we squash bugs and make changes, we invite more kids, and we usually invite more everyday. But please keep in mind that we have a couple of thousand kids on our list who want to be testers. We hope to invite everybody on the list. But at some point, when all of the known glitches are fixed, and the server is ready, we are going to stop inviting, and just open the door for everyone who wants to be a beta tester.

We are thrilled that so many kids are so excited about Tinkatolli, and we’re working as hard as we can to get everything ready so we can open the doors for everyone.

Thanks for explaining that to us Tinkatolli!I completely understand now! I am sure everyone understands now. So EVERYONE that joins will be a beta tester :) So if you don't get chosen before the doors are open to the public and want to be a beta tester don't worry you will be one just be patient.

Tinka Maker Secrets

Here are the secrets to the tinkamaker.

Secret 1: More Patterns/Face/Hair/Ears/Eyes

1. To do this you need to go to the very last page by clicking the right arrow. (on any item apart from nose)

2. Click on the right arrow 3-6 times in a row and another page should pop up (depending on what item you select is how many extra pages you will get). This does not work on the nose!

3. Chose which item you want and ta-da you got a secret item. Not many know about this! Keep it a secret!

Here are some more items you can get by doing this.

Secret 2: No Face/other items D:

This is a pretty easy one.

1. Select ANY item like a face shape (this secret is best to use on face)

2. Click on it again (one or twice) and it will disapear! now you can put items on but your tinkatolli will have no face (Patterns still go in the shape of the face so I suggest having a big face on)

Hi Guys! My name is Cpdarkrai a few of you may remember me from other sites and now I'm on Tinkatolli! Like many of you I haven't been invited and can't wait until the official release! So I won't be posting about the actual tinkatolli world (updates ect.). But in the meantime why don't you check out this awesome blog called Tinkatolli Secrets! It will show you some of tinkatolli and is great!
